Are looking to sign your child up for open enrollment this year in Scott County/Georgetown? The application is now open! You can pick up a paper application at any elementary or middle school or at the Scott Co. Schools Central Office. You must have returned the paper application by 4pm January 31st to the reception desk or Central Office and the online application will close at the same time on the 31st. If you do not have access to the internet, the Scott County Preschool Center and every elementary and middle school will have an internet access station set up for you.

Open enrollment is for students who would like to attend a school other than the school assigned to them via their place of residence. There are limited spots open for open enrollment due to school needs, student capacity, staffing, enrollment trends, and more, so parents should be aware of that when completing applications. If you are looking to complete Kindergarten open enrollment, you can access and return those applications in March.

Additionally, Scott Co. Schools is holding a community redistricting forum on January 11th at 6pm at SCHS to outline the proposed elementary, middle, and high school attendance boundaries effective August 2019.
