Winchester is located northwest of the center of Clark County, a quick drive to Lexington and Mt. Sterling. Winchester is home to the annual Beer Cheese festival, held in June. In addition to the festival, Winchester houses a handful of fun historical sites such as the Clark Mansion, Leeds Theater, and the Winchester Opera House.
